Description

The Sipjin poomsae is one of the advanced poomsaes of taekwondo, practiced from the 6th dan. It is composed of 28 movements which symbolize infinite development and constant progress. The name "Sipjin" comes from the number 10 in Korean and is inspired by the philosophy of "ten creatures of longevity" in Korean tradition, such as the sun, the moon, the mountain or the turtle. This poomsae represents stability, perseverance and harmony, and its movements should be performed in a systematic and orderly manner, reflecting the idea of ​​endless development​
