Dwit Chagi
뒤 차기Dwit Chagi (뒤 차기) is a kick in taekwondo: back Kick. The dwit chagi (back kick) strikes with the base of the heel (dwichuk). We turn our back to the target, look over the shoulder, then push the right leg backwards (linear push, not a circular rotation), generally at the trunk (medium level, momtong). From a combat guard (gyeorugi seogi), it is mainly used as a counterattack in combat (gyeorugi), but also in breakage (gyeokpa), in self-defense and in demonstration.
