Hwangso Makgi
황소 막기Hwangso Makgi (황소 막기) is a block in taekwondo: bull Block. Hwangso Makgi, the Bull Block, protects the top of the head. Both arms rise abruptly above the head, at an angle, like the horns of a bull. They block with the Outside Wrists (bakkat palmok), on the little-finger side. Because the forearms are slanted, the force of the attack slides along the arms and weakens. This block appears in the poomsae Sipjin and Jitae.
