Juchum Seogi
주춤 서기Juchum Seogi (주춤 서기) is a stance in taekwondo: horseback Riding Stance. In Juchum Seogi, the Horseback Riding Stance, both feet are parallel and point forward, about two shoulder widths apart. The knees are bent and pushed outward, the shins close to vertical, and the weight is split 50/50 between the two legs, which push inward, for a low and stable center of gravity. It is used especially in poomsae (for example Taegeuk 7) and for practicing punches and blocks.
